26 modern markets built, 30,000+ traders to benefit

Kiambu County is implementing a market modernisation programme to give traders safe, decent and organised spaces for business. 26 county markets are under construction, with another 23 being developed in partnership with the national government. More than 30,000 traders are expected to benefit, with the new markets including ICT hubs and children's day-care centres.
