County bursary allocation increased to Sh750 million

Kiambu County has increased its annual bursary allocation from Sh100 million to Sh750 million, with per-student allocation rising from Sh1,500 to Sh5,000 and above, and some students receiving full scholarships. Over the last four years, about 400,000 students have benefited from the programme.
